exceptional song writing ability and his passionate performances.
He's toured with artists such as

It’s been the
ability of Castro and his band to electrify a live audience that,
within a few short years, has taken them from San Francisco fame
to international acclaim. Tommy
Castro
has become firmly-established as one of the premiere and most
compelling artists on the Blues scene. Blues Review said,
"Castro's
energy and charisma leap right out!" With the
release of
Gratitude,
his 7th recording he launched his own label,
Heart & Soul Records co-founded with
Blue Sky Artist Management's
Miki Nord.
Years of touring, writing, and recording have resulted in a
masterful blend of the musical genres that he loves: Blues, Soul
and Rock.
BB King
said "I knew when
Tommy first came out on tour with me some years back, that he has
what it takes. Gratitude shows that, and takes us back to the roots
that have influenced him. He's really done something special!" With Gratitude, Castro gives a searing nod to his influences and
shows that his work is far more worthy than many have acknowledged
thus far. Castro arrived prior to this disc with his releases such
as Exception to the Rule, Right as Rain, and Guilty of
Love. All
are great releases and should be part of any Blues fan's
collection. "This whole CD is just about having a blast, playing
great songs by all the cats I like. We couldn't even come close to
getting them all in. I guess we'll just have to make another one", predicts Castro.
