Howlin' Wolf

Howlin' Wolf aka Chester Burnett - June 10,1910-January 10,1976 - Howlin' Wolf born Chester Arthur Burnett on June 10, 1910 in West Point, Mississippi. Sun Records, Sam Phillips arranged for the Wolf's first recording session in 1951. In 1953, Howlin' Wolf moved to Chicago and remained there. Moving to Chicago put him into the legendary competition with Muddy Waters. He was a major influence on British Blues artists such as the Rolling Stones, and Long John Baldry. His last performance was with BB King in 1975. Howlin' Wolf was inducted into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame (1991) and the Blues Foundation's Hall of Fame in 1980.  Mp3Killin' Floor

Willie Dixon

Willie Dixon - July 1,1915 to January 29,1992 - Willie Dixon was born on July 1, 1915 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. In 1954, Dixon's career blossomed when Muddy Waters recorded Hoochie Coochie Man and Howlin' Wolf recorded Evil. Willie Dixon is perhaps best known for his ability to compose music. Among his more famous songs that he wrote are Back Door Man, Little Red Rooster, I Ain't Superstitious, Spoonful,  and Bring It On Home. Aside from composing music, he also worked as a session musician, arranging and producing sessions for Chess Records. Willie Dixon was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1980. Muddy Waters

Muddy Waters aka McKinley Morganfield - April 4,1915 to April 30,1983 - born McKinley Morganfield on April 14, 1915 in Rolling Fork. Muddy Waters first recorded in 1941 for folklorist Alan Lomax and the Library of Congress. In 1948, Chess recorded Muddy. he performed an old Delta Blues song I Can't Be Satisfied. The years 1951 through 1960 produced some of Waters' greatest hits including Got My Mojo Working and I'm Ready. Muddy moved Blue Sky Records and recorded Hard Again in 1977. This album won him a second Grammy. Inducted into Blues Foundation's Hall of Fame in 1980, and Rock&Roll Hall of Fame 1987. Mp3- Mannish Boy
